The redevelopment project proposes a mixed-use neighbourhood including 2,300 new homes (35% affordable) alongside commercial, community, leisure, healthcare, and public realm, developed by architects Haworth Tompkins, with key stakeholders in the London Borough of Hounslow, Metropolitan Workshop, Studio Egret West, and dRMM.

Sustainability and adaptive reuse was central to the proposal and achieved with the Material Index’s dedicated Material Tracking Dashboard to ensure responsible material management by providing figures on actual material movements by weight, alongside the estimated embodied carbon per tonne. Of the initial project soft-strip material, 41% was reused and 59% recycled, leaving no waste to be sent to landfill.
